about
I wrote this song after watching people I loved around me struggle and some end long term relationships. I have had my ups and downs in my marriage with my wonderful wife of over 30 yrs Donna. We have always overcome the conflict we encountered. We always used to say to each other that our relationship was "for forever PLUS a day."
BUT what if it wasn't? What would I have felt if we had not overcome one of our conflicts and had went our separate ways? In writing Teardrop in Your Eyes, I explored this idea, its emotion, all of it.
This song may resonate with some of you. Thank you for downloading and listening.

lyrics
Teardrop in Your Eyes
They always said that it could last forever
That’s what they said, but now it’s gone
Thought we would live our lives, together forever
Maybe I knew it, all along
If I could find my way, to feel this rejection
If I could find a way to see
Not forever lost, in quiet reflection
I would know, the how and why’s of you and me..
Chorus:
Oh Baby, when I look into your eyes
Then maybe, I have finally realized
That love is, a teardrop in your eyes
And goodbye’s…
Solo and chorus
Now that you found me here, in my desperation
Looking for the perfect place, called love
Please help me find my way, through the lies and deception
That carry me, where I can see it from above…
Chorus:
Oh Baby, when I look into your eyes
Then maybe, I have finally realized
That love is, a teardrop in your eyes
And goodbye’s…
Oh Baby, it’s the look that you send
I’m not crazy, I’m embracing it’s the end
Our love is, a teardrop in your eyes
It’s goodbye…
Looks like, that they were wrong, it didn’t last forever…
